About the hike

Compared to its neighboring mountain, Grindane, Bergsfjellet is the smaller sibling, but the view from the top is just as impressive as from Grindane. The route follows the trail where oxen were driven up for summer grazing in the old days.

How to get there

Turn off from the E-16 at the western end of Vang centre by the petrol station at the sign "Skakadalen 10," and drive past Stelegardadn to a small parking area at the start of the trail. You can also easily reach this spot by renting one of the hotel's electric bikes.
