About the hike

The hike to Skutshødn offers truly breathtaking views over Vangsmjøsa, as well as stunning vistas of the peaks in Jotunheimen. The hike starts in Sandalen, where we highly recommend a visit to Sparstadstølen if it is open on the day you plan to go.

How to get there

Starting point: Sandalen. To get there, drive on Fv. 293 to Vennis and turn off at the sign for Sandalen. Toll road, 6.5 km. There is a parking area just before the mountain farms.
